| dc.description.abstract | Το κυρίως σώμα της εργασίας αφιερώνεται στο κίνημα των Νεοτούρκων και στην ανάδειξη του Τουρκικού Εθνικισμού. Η παρουσία του Κεμάλ Ατατούρκ, ηγέτη των Νεοτούρκων, καθώς και η εγκληματική δράση των στελεχών αναδεικνύονται μέσα από την μελέτη της βιβλιογραφίας και τις μαρτυρίες ανθρώπων που ενεπλάκησαν καθ’ οιονδήποτε τρόπο στο ζήτημα της Γενοκτονίας. Η αποτυχημένη προσπάθεια δημιουργίας αυτόνομου Ποντιακού κράτους, η ρητορική του μίσους εναντίον των Ποντίων, η στάση της ελληνικής κυβέρνησης και η εγκατάσταση των προσφύγων στην Ελλάδα μελετήθηκαν ενδελεχώς. Τέλος, γίνεται αναφορά στις διαρκείς προσπάθειες των Ποντίων για επίσημη αναγνώριση της γενοκτονίας και για την καθιέρωσή της στην ιστορική μνήμη. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The main body of this essay is dedicated to the movement of the New Turks and the emergence of Turkish Nationalism. The presence of Kemal Atatürk, leader of the New Turks as well as the criminal activity of his executives are highlighted through the study of the literature and the testimonies of people who were involved in any way in the matter of the Pontic Genocide. The failed attempt to create an autonomous Pontic state, the hateful rhetoric against the Pontians, the Greek government's political position and the refugees settlement in Greece were thoroughly studied. Finally, a reference is made to the continuous efforts of the Pontians for an official recognition of their genocide and for its establishment in the global historical memory. | el |
