dc.description.abstractΗ εργασία εξετάζει δύο από τις πλέον καθοριστικές κρίσεις που σημάδεψαν την Ελλάδα την τελευταία δεκαετία: την Οικονομική Κρίση (2011-2015) και την Προσφυγική Κρίση (2015 και μετά). Η Οικονομική Κρίση, που ξεκίνησε το 2009 και κορυφώθηκε την περίοδο 2011-2015, οδήγησε τη χώρα σε βαθιά ύφεση, με σοβαρές συνέπειες για την κοινωνία. Μεγάλα ποσοστά ανεργίας, μαζικές περικοπές στις δημόσιες δαπάνες, και αυξημένη φτώχεια δημιούργησαν ένα περιβάλλον έντονης κοινωνικής αποσταθεροποίησης. Οι πολιτικές λιτότητας, οι οποίες επιβλήθηκαν ως προϋπόθεση για τη χρηματοδοτική στήριξη της χώρας, επιδείνωσαν τις οικονομικές συνθήκες και οδήγησαν σε κοινωνικές εντάσεις και πολιτική αναταραχή. Η Προσφυγική Κρίση του 2015, η οποία ήρθε να επιβαρύνει μια ήδη καταπονημένη χώρα, χαρακτηρίστηκε από την μαζική εισροή προσφύγων και μεταναστών που διέφυγαν από πολέμους και συγκρούσεις στη Μέση Ανατολή και την Αφρική. Η Ελλάδα, λόγω της γεωγραφικής της θέσης, έγινε το κύριο σημείο εισόδου στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, αντιμετωπίζοντας τεράστιες προκλήσεις στη διαχείριση των ανθρώπινων ροών και στην παροχή ανθρωπιστικής βοήθειας, παρά την τότε δεδομένη δεινή οικονομική της κατάσταση. Η παρούσα εργασία αναλύει τις κοινωνικές, οικονομικές και πολιτικές επιπτώσεις αυτών των δύο κρίσεων στην ελληνική κοινωνία, καθώς και την αντίδραση του κράτους, της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και των διεθνών οργανισμών, επισημαίνοντας την πολυπλοκότητα και την αλληλεπίδραση των δύο αυτών κρίσεων.el
dc.description.abstracttranslatedThe paper examines two of the most defining crises that took place Greece in the last decade: the Economic Crisis (2011-2015) and the Refugee Crisis (2015 onwards). The Economic Crisis, which started in 2009 and peaked in the period 2011-2015, led the country into a deep recession, with serious consequences for society. High rates of unemployment, massive cuts in public spending, and increased poverty created an environment of intense social destabilization. Austerity policies, which were imposed as a condition for the country's financial support, worsened economic conditions and led to social tensions and political unrest. The Refugee Crisis of 2015, which added to an already overburdened country, was characterized by the massive influx of refugees and migrants fleeing wars and conflicts in the Middle East and Africa. Greece, due to its geographical location, became the main entry point to the European Union, facing enormous challenges in managing human flows and providing humanitarian aid, despite its economic weakness. The paper analyzes the social, economic and political effects of these two crises on Greek society, as well as the reaction of the state, the European Union and international organizations, highlighting the complexity and interaction of these two crises.el
