| dc.description.abstract | Με την διπλωματική εργασία επιχειρείται μια προσέγγιση στον σοφιστή Γοργία. Θα γίνει απόπειρα να φανεί ποια είναι η θέση του Γοργία μέσα από τα έργα: 1) Ελένης Εγκώμιον, 2) Υπέρ Παλαμήδους Απολογία, 3)Περί του μη Όντος καθώς και πώς το έβλεπε ο Πλάτων, το οποίο θα αναλυθεί στο Γοργία του Πλάτωνα. Επίσης θα γίνει προσπάθεια να προβληθεί η ρητορική τέχνη (Γενικά) ως μέσο αναζήτησης της αλήθειας αλλά και ως μέσο πειθούς, όταν η αλήθεια από μόνη της δεν αρκεί. Επιπλέον, θα γίνει απόπειρα να φανεί η έννοια της σοφιστικής ρητορικής, η μέθοδος διδασκαλίας, καθώς και η συμβολή των σοφιστών στην εξέλιξη της ρητορικής. Μας δίνεται, ακόμη, η ευκαιρία να προσδιορίσουμε το ύφος του Γοργία και να αναφερθούμε στα λεγόμενα «Γοργίεια σχήματα». Τέλος, θα γίνει προσπάθεια να φανεί, ότι ο Πλάτων ήταν έναντι της ρητορικής στον Γοργία. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | In this dissertation we attempt to approach the sophist Gorgia and in particular his point of view through his works 1) Encomion of Helen 2) Defence of Palamedes 3) On nature or the non existent, and also the point of view of Plato, which will be analysed in Plato’s Gorgias. There will be also an attempt to show rhetoric , in general, as a means of seeking the truth, and of persuasion when truth alone is inadequate. Moreover, we will show the meaning of sophistic rhetoric, the method of teaching, and also the contribution of sophists in the development of the rhetoric art. We will also have the opportunity to determine Gorgias’ idiom and to mention the so called Gorgieia schemata . Finally, we will attempt to show that Plato was against rhetoric in Gorgias. | el |
