dc.description.abstractΗ παρούσα έρευνα εξετάζει τις επιδράσεις της διαγενεακής επαφής μέσω των ιστοριών ζωής ηλικιωμένων και τον τρόπο, με τον οποίο επηρεάζει τόσο τους ηλικιωμένους όσο και τα παιδιά. Χρησιμοποιήθηκε η μεθοδολογία της ποιοτικής έρευνας για να αναλυθούν τα αμοιβαία οφέλη που αφορούν τις δύο ομάδες. Αναφορικά με τους ηλικιωμένους, τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν ότι απολαμβάνουν την αφήγηση, βελτιώνεται η αυτοεκτίμησή τους, ενισχύονται οι γνωστικές τους λειτουργίες, ενώ αναδείχθηκε η ανάγκη τους για ανθρώπινη σύνδεση. Σχετικά με τα παιδιά, τα αποτελέσματα αναφέρουν ότι εξέφρασαν ενθουσιασμό για τις αληθινές ιστορίες, ταυτίστηκαν με αυτές, ενισχύοντας την ενσυναίσθησή τους και απέκτησαν καινούργιες γνώσεις. Συμπερασματικά, η έρευνα καταλήγει στο ότι οι δύο ομάδες ανταλλάσσουν πολύτιμα στοιχεία μεταξύ τους και η επαφή τους μπορεί να επηρεάσει θετικά και το κοινωνικό σύνολο.el
dc.description.abstracttranslatedThis research examines the effect of intergenerational contact through the life stories of older people and how it influences both the elderly and children. A qualitative research methodology was used to analyze the mutual benefits for both groups. Regarding the elderly, the findings indicate that they enjoy storytelling, their self-esteem improves, their cognitive functions are enhanced, and their need for human connection is highlighted. As for the children, the results show that they expressed enthusiasm for life stories, identified with them, enhanced their empathy, and acquired new knowledge. In conclusion, the study suggests that both groups exchange valuable elements with each other, and their interaction can also positively impact society as a whole.el
