| dc.description.abstract | Ο κλάδος του φαρμάκου αποτελεί τα τελευταία χρόνια τομέα στρατηγικής σημασίας για την ελληνική οικονομία. Η ιδιαίτερη φύση του φαρμάκου το καθιστά ένα βιομηχανικό προϊόν υψηλής τεχνολογίας κι ένα βασικό κοινωνικό αγαθό, με αποτέλεσμα να αποτελεί βασική προτεραιότητα για όλες τις κυβερνήσεις. Ειδικότερα, αν αναλογιστεί κανείς ότι ο φαρμακευτικός κλάδος είναι ένας από τους ισχυρότερους κλάδους της οικονομίας της χώρας μας, και παρόλη την οικονομική ύφεση και της συγκυρίες που αντιμετωπίζουν οι χώρες λόγω της πανδημίας του κορονοϊού, είναι εφικτό η ελληνική φαρμακοβιομηχανία να αποτελέσει σημαντικό κομμάτι της κλινικής έρευνας. Ιδίως, όταν σήμερα, η ελληνική φαρμακοβιομηχανία έχει δημιουργήσει μια σημαντική πορεία, για περισσότερα από 50 χρόνια, στην έρευνα και την αντιμετώπιση σοβαρών παθήσεων και ασθενειών. Επιπρόσθετα, ο φαρμακευτικός τομέας αποτελεί έναν από τους μεγαλύτερους τομείς για επενδύσεις στην έρευνα και ανάπτυξη, και στηρίζεται από όλα τα κράτη της Ε.Ε, και του κόσμου σχετικά με την προώθηση καινοτόμων ενεργειών και διαδικασιών. Η ανάγκη για καινοτομία, ιδίως στον φαρμακευτικό τομέα, είναι ευδιάκριτη και καθοριστική για την εξέλιξη της βιομηχανίας αυτής. Κατανοώντας την ιδιαιτερότητα του τομέα της φαρμακοβιομηχανίας για καινοτομία και έρευνα, ο βασικός σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να αναλύσει τις έννοιες της καινοτομίας και της έρευνας και ανάπτυξης στον τομέα του φαρμάκου και τη φαρμακοβιομηχανία. Για την επίτευξη του σκοπού αυτού, η εργασία διαρθρώνεται σε έξι κεφάλαια, όπου παρουσιάζονται οι βασικές έννοιες της καινοτομίας και της κλινικής έρευνας, αναλύεται ο κλάδος της φαρμακοβιομηχανίας και παρουσιάζονται στατιστικά στοιχεία για αυτόν. | dc.description.abstracttranslated | In recent years, the pharmaceutical sector has been a sector of strategic importance for the Greek economy. The special nature of medicine makes it a high-tech industrial product and a basic social good, making it a top priority for all governments. In particular, if one considers that the pharmaceutical sector is one of the strongest sectors of our country's economy, and despite the economic recession and the conjunctures faced by countries due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is possible for the Greek pharmaceutical industry to be an important part of the clinic research. Especially, when today, the Greek pharmaceutical industry has created an important course, for more than 50 years, in research and treatment of serious diseases and illnesses. In addition, the pharmaceutical sector is one of the largest sectors for investment in research and development, and is supported by all EU countries and the world in promoting innovative actions and processes. Therefore, research and development, as well as innovation in the pharmaceutical sector have a particularly important role to play. In other words, the need for innovation, especially in the pharmaceutical sector, is clear and decisive for the development of this industry. Based on the above, and mainly understanding the specificity of the pharmaceutical sector for innovation and research, the need arose to write this dissertation. Thus, the main purpose of this paper is to analyze the concepts of innovation and research and development in the field of medicine and the pharmaceutical industry. To achieve this goal, the work is structured in six chapters, which present the basic concepts of innovation and clinical research, analyze the pharmaceutical industry and present statistics on it.
