| dc.description.abstract | Η Πολιτική Συνοχής αποτελεί μία από τις σημαντικότερες πολιτικές της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης που υλοποιείται για την επίτευξη της εμβάθυνσης και ολοκλήρωσης της. Οι ανισότητες ανάμεσα στις Περιφέρειες της Ένωσης και η ανάγκη μείωσης αυτών, έχουν ως αποτέλεσμα την ενίσχυση της Πολιτικής Συνοχής και την καθιέρωση προγραμμάτων για την χρηματοδότηση των κρατών μελών. Η υλοποίηση των επιχειρησιακών προγραμμάτων που θέτουν ως προτεραιότητα την κοινωνική, οικονομική και εδαφική συνοχή στα πλαίσια τ ης αειφόρου ανάπτυξης, επιτάσσει τον καθορισμό στόχων τόσο σε ευρωπαϊκό όσο και σε εθνικό επίπεδο, προσαρμοσμένων στις ανάγκες της εκάστοτε περιφέρειας. Στα πλαίσια της εργασίας διεξάγεται ανάλυση των εν λόγω στόχων καθώς και των επιχειρησιακών προγραμμάτω ν της Περιφέρειας Κρήτης. Επιπρόσθετα, καταδεικνύεται η σημασία των επιχειρησιακών προγραμμάτων, διεκπεραιώνεται η ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων και παρουσιάζεται η πρόοδος που έχει σημειωθεί όσον αφορά στην αειφόρο ανάπτυξη του νησιού. Εν κατακλείδι, γίνεται σύγκριση της Περιφέρειας με άλλες περιφέρειες της χώρας ως προς τους οικονομικούς δείκτες, προκειμένου να εξαχθούν συμπεράσματα τόσο για την πορεία ανάπτυξης του νησιού, όσο και για την προοδευτική του τάση εν συγκρίσει με άλλες εθνικές περιφέρειες. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | Cohesion Policy consists one of the most important policies of the European Union which is implemented to achieve the deepening and integration of the Union. The inequalities between the Regions of the Union and the need of their reduction conclude to the reinforcement of the Cohesion Policy and the establishment of programs for the funding of the Member States. The implementation of operational programs that set as a priority the social, economic and territor ial cohesion in the terms of sustainable development, determines as essential, the objectives for both European and national levels, adapted to the needs of each region. An analysis of the aforementioned objectives as well as of the operational programs of the Region of Crete is being carried out within the thesis. In addition, the importance of operational programs is profound, the analysis of the results is carried out and the progress made in terms of sustainable development of the island is presented. I n conclusion, the region of Crete is compared with other ones in Greece, regarding the economic indicators, in order to end to conclusions about the island's development process, and its progress in comparison with other national regions. | el |
