| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία πραγματεύεται την ύπαρξη στοιχείων ρητορείας και ρητορικής στην Ιλιάδα. Αν και οι ιστορικοί της ρητορικής αμφισβήτησαν τη δυνατότητα ύπαρξης ρητορικών στοιχείων στο έπος πριν τη γένεση της ρητορικής, εντούτοις η φιλολογική έρευνα έχει καταδείξει πως στην Ιλιάδα συναντάται μία πρώιμη ρητορική πραγματικότητα που προοιωνίζεται την εμφάνιση της κλασικής ρητορικής. Ως εκ τούτου, τα στοιχεία της ομηρικής ρητορικής (επίκληση στην τιμή, στο υλικό κέρδος, στην εξουσία, στη δικαιοσύνη) συνυπάρχουν με τα στοιχεία της αριστοτελικής ρητορικής (λόγος, ήθος, πάθος) που ενυπάρχουν στο έπος σπερματικά. Το γεγονός αυτό πιστοποιεί η παρουσία αρχέτυπων ρητορικής στην Ιλιάδα, όπως η ζυγαριά του Δία και η απεικόνιση δίκης στην ασπίδα του Αχιλλέα, που εδράζονται στην έννοια της διχογνωμίας,η οποία παραπέμπει ευθέως στον λόγο και στον αντίλογο, στη ρήση και στην αντίρρηση. Επιστέγασμα των προαναφερθεισών απόψεων αποτελεί ο εντοπισμός στοιχείων της ομηρικής και αριστοτελικής πειθούς σε συγκεκριμένους λόγους, μονολόγους και διαλόγους του έπους. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | This paper aims to delve into the existence of rhetorical features and rhetoric in Iliad. Although historians have disputed the existence of rhetoric in the Homeric poem prior to the birth of rhetoric itself, literature has demonstrated that Iliad showcases an early rhetorical reality heralding the emergence of classical rhetoric. Therefore, the elements of Homeric rhetoric (appeal to honor, wealth, authority and justice) coexist with early elements of Aristotle’s rhetoric (logos, ethos, pathos) which reside in the poem. This is confirmed by the presence of rhetorical archetypes, including Zeus’ scales and the depiction of a court scene, both being anchored in the concept of dichognomy which clearly cross-refers to the dialogic structure of logos and anti-logos. The detection of features of Homeric and Aristotelian persuasion in specific speeches, monologues and dialogues throughout the poem is the capstone of the aforementioned stand on the matter. | el |
