dc.description.abstractΗ χάραξη πολιτικής -τόσο σε θέματα εσωτερικής όσο και εξωτερικής πολιτικής- αποτελεί μια αδήριτη ανάγκη και βασική προτεραιότητα για την ύπαρξη ενός κράτους. Κεντρικό ρόλο στον σχεδιασμό της πολιτικής κατέχει ο διαμορφωτής αποφάσεων. Η παρούσα εργασία θα εξετάσει τις θεωρίες που σχετίζονται με την Ανάλυση Εξωτερικής Πολιτικής και περιστρέφονται γύρω από την προσωπικότητα του διαμορφωτή αποφάσεων, καθώς και τους παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν τον διαμορφωτή στη λήψη αποφάσεων, δηλαδή ποιους παράγοντες λαμβάνει υπόψη του πριν οδηγηθεί στη χάραξη της σχετικής πολιτικής. Κατόπιν το θεωρητικό αυτό πλαίσιο θα εφαρμοστεί στη μελέτη περίπτωσης που θα απασχολήσει στη παρούσα εργασία, τη διπλωματική στρατηγική του Ιωάννη Καποδίστρια κατά το 1827 ως το 1831. Η επιλογή της συγκεκριμένης ιστορικής προσωπικότητας και χρονικής περιόδου δεν είναι τυχαία καθώς -πέρα από το γεγονός ότι εναρμονίζεται πλήρως με τις θεωρίες Ανάλυσης Εξωτερικής Πολιτικής που αναπτύσσονται- σηματοδοτεί τη δημιουργία ενός νέου κράτους και θέτει τα θεμέλια της ύπαρξής του στο διεθνές σκηνικό. Η εργασία αυτή αντλεί πληροφοριακό υλικό από τη σχετική βιβλιογραφία και αρθρογραφία τόσο για τον Ιωάννη Καποδίστρια όσο και για την Ανάλυση Εξωτερικής Πολιτικής και ολοκληρώνεται με την εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων.el
dc.description.abstracttranslatedThe formulation of policy –both in domestic and foreign matters– constitutes an indispensable necessity and a fundamental priority for the existence of a state. The decision-maker plays a central role in shaping this policy. The present study will examine theories related to Foreign Policy Analysis that revolve around the personality of the decision-maker, as well as the factors influencing the decision-maker in their choices. In other words, it will explore the factors the decision-maker takes into account before embarking on the formulation of the relevant policy. Following the theoretical framework, it will be applied to the case study that will be the focus of this work: the diplomatic strategy of Ioannis Kapodistrias from 1827 to 1831. The choice of this specific historical figure and time period is not coincidental, as –beyond being fully aligned with the theories of Foreign Policy Analysis being developed– it marks the establishment of a new state and lays the foundations of its existence on the international stage. This work draws informational material from relevant literature and articles, both regarding Ioannis Kapodistrias and Foreign Policy Analysis, and concludes with the derivation of conclusions.el
