| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία παρουσιάζει τα ιστορικά γεγονότα της κατάκτησης της Πελοποννήσου από τους Φράγκους. Η μελέτη βασίζεται στις κυριότερες σύγχρονες και μεταγενέστερες βυζαντινές και άλλες μεσαιωνικές πηγές, καθώς επίσης και στη σχετική σύγχρονη βιβλιογραφία, η οποία έχει εμπλουτιστεί αρκετά κατά τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες με διάφορες συμβολές γύρω από σημαντικές πτυχές και ιστορικά ζητήματα για τη φραγκική κατάκτηση της Πελοποννήσου. Επίσης, εξετάζονται αρκετά τοπογραφικά και γεωγραφικά ζητήματα που σχετίζονται με την κατάκτηση της Πελοποννήσου, είτε με την ταύτιση ορισμένων θέσεων, είτε με τη χάραξη της πορείας μιας εκστρατείας, είτε, γενικότερα, με τη γεωγραφική παρακολούθηση της εξέλιξης των γεγονότων. Η συστηματικοποίηση και κωδικοποίηση του υλικού προσδοκά να παραθέσει τα γεγονότα μέσα στα γενικότερα πλαίσια της ιστορίας της ευρύτερης περιοχής κατά το διάστημα της φραγκικής κατάκτησης. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | This study presents the historical events of the conquest of the Peloponnese by the Franks. The study is based on the main contemporary and later byzantine and other medieval sources, as well as on the relevant modern bibliography, which has been considerably enriched during the last decades with various contributions about important aspects and historical issues about the Frankish conquest of the Peloponnese. Furthermore, several topographical and geographical issues related to the conquest of Peloponnese are examined, either by identifying certain positions, or by charting the course of a campaign, or, more generally, by geographically monitoring the evolution of events. The systematization and the codification of the material expects to list the events within the general context of the history of the wider region during the period of the Frankish conquest. | el |
