Βασικός Στόχος της έρευνας ήταν η ενδοσκόπηση και ο σχολιασμός των κεφαλαίων της Ατζέντας 21. Το θέμα ερευνήθηκε μέσω πρωτογενών και δευτερογενών εγγράφων από διεθνείς φορείς.el
