dc.description.abstractΤο οικονομικό σκηνικό έχει μεταμορφωθεί πλήρως από την καινοτόμο φύση του χώρου των κρυπτονομισμάτων. Αυτή η διατριβή πηγαίνει σε πολλές λεπτομέρειες και παρέχει μια λεπτομερή εξέταση της τεράστιας αγοράς κρυπτονομισμάτων. Επιστρέφοντας στα βασικά, η έρευνα ξεκινά αντιπαραβάλλοντας τις παραδοσιακές μεθόδους πληρωμής με την εμφάνιση των κρυπτονομισμάτων. Τονίζονται πολλοί παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν την τιμολόγηση των κρυπτονομισμάτων, μαζί με τη λειτουργία των πλατφορμών ανταλλαγής, τη δυναμική της αγοράς και τον κρίσιμο ρόλο που διαδραματίζει το blockchain, ένα αποκεντρωμένο και κατανεμημένο σύστημα μητρώου σε μια δικτυακή υποδομή. Καθώς κάποιος ερευνά μακρύτερα, τα ζητήματα ασφάλειας παίρνουν το επίκεντρο. Υπάρχουν κίνδυνοι που σχετίζονται με τον κόσμο των κρυπτονομισμάτων. Αυτές περιλαμβάνουν σημαντικές ανησυχίες για την ασφάλεια στον κυβερνοχώρο, απότομες διακυμάνσεις τιμών, ανέντιμη συμπεριφορά και στρατηγικές δυσκολίες στη διαχείριση κινδύνου. Εν μέσω αυτών των δυσκολιών, η έρευνα τονίζει επίσης τον ακρογωνιαίο λίθο της κρυπτογραφίας του κλάδου και την πιθανή απειλή που θέτει ο κβαντικός υπολογιστής. dc.description.abstracttranslatedThe financial scene has been completely transformed by the innovative nature of the cryptocurrency space. This thesis goes into great detail and provides a detailed examination of the vast cryptocurrency market. Going back to the basics, the research starts by contrasting traditional payment methods with the emergence of cryptocurrencies. Numerous factors that impact cryptocurrency pricing are highlighted, along with the functioning of exchange platforms, market dynamics, and the critical role that blockchain, a decentralized ledger system, plays. As one delves farther, security considerations take center stage. There are risks associated with the cryptocurrency world; these include substantial cybersecurity concerns, sharp price swings, dishonest behavior, and strategic difficulties with risk management. In the midst of these difficulties, the research also emphasizes the industry's cornerstone of cryptography and the potential threat posed by quantum computing. Another important tenet of this theory is regulation. Legislation is still a two-edged sword when it comes to a subject as new and developing as cryptocurrency. The study provides insight into the complex trade-off between promoting innovation and guaranteeing security by looking at the global regulatory system, the complexities of taxes, and the effects on individual countries. In summary, this thesis provides a prism through which to see the future as the global financial system changes, asking if cryptocurrencies would overthrow established financial institutions or if they will fit in well. This thorough investigation serves as a guide for all parties involved in exploring the exciting world of cryptocurrencies.el
