| dc.description.abstract | Τα μουσεία αποτελούν χαρακτηριστικό τμήμα του πολιτισμικού πλέγματος της νεότερης Ευρώπης και του κόσμου που βρίσκεται υπό ευρωπαϊκή επιρροή. Ο αρχαιοελληνικός όρος ΄΄μουσείο΄΄, ο οποίος σήμαινε το τέμενος που ήταν αφιερωμένο στις Μούσες, τις κόρες του Δία και της Μνημοσύνης, και στις τέχνες που αυτές αντιπροσώπευαν, προσέλαβε ποικίλες σημασίες ανά τους αιώνες. (Alexander, 1979; Benett, 1995 & Βουδούρη, 2003). Το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο της Σπάρτης είναι το πρώτο επαρχιακό μουσείο της Ελλάδας, το οποίο άρχισε να οικοδομείται το 1874 και ολοκληρώθηκε το 1876. Σκοπός της παρούσας μελέτης ήταν να διερευνήσει τις αντιλήψεις των κατοίκων της Λακωνίας για το αρχαιολογικό μουσείο της Σπάρτης. Στη μελέτη πήραν μέρος 100 άτομα, άνδρες και γυναίκες, που κατάγονταν από διάφορα μέρη της Λακωνίας. Η ηλικία των συμμετεχόντων ήταν πάνω από 18 ετών. Τα άτομα αυτά δεν είχαν πάρει μέρος σε ανάλογη έρευνα για τις αντιλήψεις για το μουσείο της Σπάρτης. | dc.description.abstracttranslated | The museums are a typical part of the cultural matrix of modern Europe and the world, which is under European influence. The ancient Greek word museum, which meant the shrine that was dedicated to the Muses, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, and the arts are represented, hired a variety of meanings over the centuries. (Alexander,1979; Benett, 1995 & Voudouris, 2003) The Archaeological Museum of Sparta is the first provincial museum in Greece, which began to be built in 1874 and was completed in 1876. The purpose of this study was to explore the perceptions of residents of Laconia for the Museum of Sparta. In the study 100 people, men and women participated, who came from various parts of Laconia. The age of the participants was over 18 years old. These people had not taken part in a similar survey on perceptions about the museum of Sparta. The questionnaire contained demographic questions with which we collected information on participants, such as, sex, educational level, region of residence, and occupation, and questions about the terms of participants and their opinion on the reasons they visit or not the Archaeological Museum of Sparta, its contribution to the local community, its organization and the ways to improve the service to the citizens. The sample of respondents rated with higher degree the question: "How do you think the cultural offer of the Archaeological Museum of Sparta in society would be improved? (Sub- question with better organization and promotion) » leading to the conclusion that the current effort to advertise the museum and its organization does not motivate people to visit it. | el |
