dc.description.abstractΗ παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως κύριο άξονα την παρουσίαση των βασικών αρχών λειτουργίας μιας έξυπνης πόλης και πως αυτές θα μπορούσαν να ικανοποιήσουν τις ανάγκες και τις απαιτήσεις μιας σύγχρονης πόλης. Η εργασία ξεκινά με την κατανόηση των λειτουργιών και των αρχών μίας έξυπνης πόλης, συνεχίζει με την μελέτη πόλεων οι οποίες έχουν ενσωματώσει σε αρκετά έως πολύ μεγάλο βαθμό τις αρχές και λειτουργίες μίας έξυπνης πόλης. Η μεθοδολογία της έρευνας βασίζεται στην βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση που συμβάλει στην αποσαφήνιση των ορισμών και τη συγκριτική μελέτη παραδειγμάτων έξυπνων πόλεων. Σκοπός της κατανόησης των αρχών λειτουργίας των έξυπνων πόλεων και της μελέτης πετυχημένων παραδειγμάτων αυτών είναι η ανάλυση της περίπτωσης του Δήμου Αχαρνών και η παρουσίαση ενός πλάνου υιοθέτησης αυτών των αρχών και λειτουργιών, ή τουλάχιστον μέρους αυτών, που θα επιτρέψει στον Δήμο να παρέχει καλύτερη ποιότητα ζωής και αποτελεσματικές υπηρεσίες στους κατοίκους και στους επισκέπτες του.el
dc.description.abstracttranslatedThis master's thesis has as main axis the presentation of the principles and functions of a smart city and how they could satisfy the needs and requirements of a modern city. The work starts with understanding the functions and principles of a smart city and continues with the study of cities that have incorporated to a fairly large extent the principles and functions of a smart city. The research methodology is based on the literature review that contributes to the clarification of the definitions and the comparative study of examples of smart cities. The purpose of understanding the operating principles of smart cities and studying their successful examples is to analyze the case of the Municipality of Acharnes and to present a plan for the adoption of these principles and functions, or at least part of them, which will allow the Municipality to provide a better quality of life and efficient services to its residents and visitors.el
