dc.description.abstractΤα τελευταία χρόνια η έννοια της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών και ο ρόλος και οι δράσεις των εθελοντών βρίσκονται όλο και συχνότερα στο επίκεντρο των δημόσιων συζητήσεων. Στη χώρα μας υπάρχει μεγάλη σύγχυση ως προς τον ορισμό της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών. Παράλληλα και ο εθελοντισμός αντιμετωπίζεται με μεγάλο σκεπτικισμό. Αυτό οφείλεται στη δράση των ΜΚΟ με αφορμή το μεταναστευτικό και τα πρόσφατα σκάνδαλα ορισμένων ΜΚΟ που ασχολούνται με την προστασία ανήλικων προερχόμενων από κακοποιητικά οικογενειακά περιβάλλοντα ή από γονείς και κηδεμόνες που αδυνατούν να τα φροντίσουν. Ωστόσο η κινητοποίηση της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών και των εθελοντικών οργανώσεων μπορεί να λειτουργήσει ευεργετικά τόσο σε πολιτικό – οικονομικό, όσο και σε κοινωνικό επίπεδο. Ζούμε σε μια χρονική περίοδο όπου οι απειλές και οι κίνδυνοι έχουν αυξηθεί για το κοινωνικό σύνολο, κυρίως λόγωτης κλιματικής αλλαγής ή κατά άλλους της κλιματικής κρίσης. Πρόσφατα, ιδρύθηκε στη χώρα μας το Υπουργείο Κλιματικής Κρίσης και Πολιτικής Προστασίας με σκοπό την αντιμετώπιση και περιορισμό των παραπάνω κινδύνων. Πρόκειται για μια καινοτομία που υιοθέτησε η χώρα μας σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο, η οποία συμπληρώνεται από τη δεδηλωμένη επιθυμία της πολιτικής ηγεσίας του Υπουργείου να επενδύσει στην πολύ σημαντική βοήθεια που μπορεί να προσφέρει η Κοινωνία των Πολιτών, μέσω της κινητοποίησης του εθελοντικού κινήματος για την επίτευξη των σκοπών και των στόχων της δημόσιας διοίκησης και συγκεκριμένα του Υπουργείου Κλιματικής Κρίσης και Πολιτικής Προστασίας.el
dc.description.abstracttranslatedIn recent years, the concept of Civil Society and the role and actions of volunteers have increasingly been at the center of public debate. In our country there is a great deal of confusion as to the definition of Civil Society. At the same time, volunteering is also viewed with great skepticism, due to the activities of NGOs on the occasion of the migration issue and the recent scandals of some NGOs dealing with the protection of minors coming from abusive family environments or from parents and guardians who are unable to care for them. However, the mobilization of civil society and voluntary organizations can be beneficial both politically, economically and socially. In this period of time where threats and risks have increased for society as a whole, mainly due to climate change or, in other words, the climate crisis. Recently, the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection was established in our country to address and mitigate these risks. This is an innovation adopted by our country at a global level, which is complemented by the expressed desire of the political leadership of the Ministry to invest in the very important help that Civil Society can offer, through the mobilization of the voluntary movement to achieve the goals and objectives of the public administration and specifically the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.el
