| dc.description.abstract | Η πολιτιστική κληρονομιά κάθε τόπου είναι το στοιχείο που τον χαρακτηρίζει αλλά και τον ξεχωρίζει , ως μοναδική ψηφίδα , στο σύνολο των πολιτισμών. Οφείλει , με τη βοήθεια του κράτους και του λαού, να την διατηρεί , να την προάγει και να την έχει ως βάση για την εξέλιξη του και την τοπική ανάπτυξη. Οι πολιτιστικοί σύλλογοι διεθνώς αλλά και στη χώρα μας δημιουργήθηκαν για να διασφαλίσουν, να διατηρήσουν και να αναδείξουν την τοπική πολιτιστική κληρονομιά , καθώς και να διαπαιδαγωγήσουν και να εκπαιδεύσουν τους πολίτες ηθικά, πνευματικά και σωματικά. Ένας από αυτούς είναι ο Σύλλογος Φιλοπροόδων Φιλιατρών που εδρεύει στη Μεσσηνία. Ο σύλλογος μέσω των ποικίλων δράσεων που είχε και εξακολουθεί να έχει όλα αυτά τα χρόνια, συνέβαλε στην τοπική ανάπτυξη της περιοχής της Τριφιλίας. Θα ήταν αρμοστό, μελλοντικά, οι πολιτιστικοί σύλλογοι να λάβουν την βοήθεια που τους αρμόζει από τις κοινότητες, διότι αν η λειτουργία τους παύσει, θα επέλθει η πολιτιστική αλλοτρίωση. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The cultural heritage o each place is the element that characterizes it and also distinguishes it, as a unique mosaic, in the whole of cultures. It must, with the help of the state and the people, maintain it, promote it and have it as a basis for its development and local development. The cultural associations, both internationally and in our country, were created to ensure and highlight the local cultural heritage and to educate the citizens morally, spiritually, and physically. This essay approaches one of the oldest societies in Greece. The Society of Friends of Progress in Filiatra, which is established in Messinia, has been examined for the way it has contributed to the social, economic, and cultural development of the region. Analyzing data from interviews with various active and older members of society, the conclusion was reached that the society, through the various actions that it has had and continues to have all these years, has contributed to the creation of nearly full-time jobs, increased tourism, and support of local businesses and neighbouring areas. On the social level, the society, with the different educational seminars that it organizes, contributes to the updating of citizens on controversial social problems and educating the citizens of the region. On the cultural level, it succeeds all the time in achieving its target: to pass on the traditional customs to the new generations, reinforcing the cultural identity of the region. It has been observed that cultural societies require poor economic resources to carry out their work, but they are not supported by municipal grants. It would be appropriate that, in the future, the cultural societies receive the help that is befitting of them from the communities, because if their modes of communication stop, cultural alienation will occur. | el |
