dc.description.abstractΣτην παρούσα εργασία αναλύεται, μέσα από ανασκόπηση της διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας, έρευνας και νομοθεσίας, το μεταναστευτικό φαινόμενο και η σύνδεσή του με το ζήτημα της εθνικής και διεθνούς ασφάλειας, επικεντρώνοντας στον ευρωπαϊκό χώρο. Πλαισιοθετούνται οι έννοιες της ασφάλειας και της μετανάστευσης σύμφωνα με τις χωροχρονικές και κοινωνικο-ιστορικές συγκυρίες και καταγράφονται οι διεθνείς θεσμικές διατάξεις, βάσει των οποίων η Ευρώπη δομεί και υλοποιεί την ακολουθούμενη μεταναστευτική πολιτική για την ασφάλεια εντός του ευρωπαϊκού χώρου. Εν συνεχεία, αναλύεται το ζήτημα της προσλαμβανόμενης απειλής της ασφάλειας συναρτήσει των αυξημένων παράτυπων μεταναστευτικών ροών και καταδεικνύεται η σύνδεσή τους με τη δραστηριοποίηση εγκληματικών δικτύων που ανήκουν στον χώρο του οργανωμένου εγκλήματος, των οποίων παρουσιάζεται ο τρόπος οργάνωσης και δράσης. Τέλος, καταγράφονται οι πολιτικές των φορέων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης για την πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση του προβλήματος. Ειδικότερα, παρουσιάζεται αφενός το πλαίσιο δράσης των ευρωπαϊκών φορέων και οργάνων και αφετέρου η ερευνητική, αξιολογική και επιχειρησιακή δράση των αρμόδιων οργανισμών για την ασφάλεια και την προστασία Ευρωπαίων και μεταναστών (Europol, FRONTEX).el
dc.description.abstracttranslatedIn this paper, through a review of international literature, research and legislation, the migration phenomenon and its connection with the issue of national and international security is analyzed, focusing on the European area. The concepts of security and migration are framed according to the spatio-temporal and socio-historical circumstances and the international institutional provisions are recorded, based on which Europe structures and implements the migration policy followed for security within the European space. Subsequently, the issue of the perceived security threat related to the increased irregular migration flows is analyzed, the connection with the activity of criminal networks belonging to the field of organized crime is demonstrated and their way of organization and action is presented. Finally, the policies of the European Union bodies for the prevention and treatment of the problem are recorded. In particular, the action framework of the European bodies and institutions on the one hand, and on the other hand, the research, evaluation and operational activity of the competent organizations for the security and protection of Europeans and immigrants are presented (Europol, FRONTEX).el
