| dc.description.abstract | Στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η εξέταση των συστατικών στοιχείων της αρμενικής ταυτότητας, όπως αυτά αποτυπώνονται στο λόγο που εκφέρουν οι Αρμένιοι της Αττικής. Βάσει της οπτικής που υιοθετείται στο παρόν πόνημα, τα μέλη της αρμενικής κοινότητας Αττικής χωρίζονται σε δύο κατηγορίες. Η πρώτη απαρτίζεται από τους νέους Αρμένιους μετανάστες που ήρθαν στην Ελλάδα τα τελευταία εικοσιπέντε χρόνια και η δεύτερη από τους παλιούς Αρμένιους, οι οποίοι γεννήθηκαν και ζουν στην Ελλάδα και είναι απόγονοι των Αρμενίων που ήρθαν εδώ στις αρχές του εικοστού αιώνα. Η ερευνητική υπόθεση που διατυπώθηκε κατά το σχεδιασμό της έρευνας είναι ότι οι δύο ανωτέρω ομάδες νοηματοδοτούν διαφορετικά τα στοιχεία της εθνικής τους ταυτότητας, γεγονός που συχνά προκαλεί τριβές εντός της κοινότητας. Ο ισχυρισμός αυτός επιβεβαιώθηκε ως ένα βαθμό, με βάση τα ευρήματα της έρευνας. Κατά την ερευνητική διαδικασία ακολουθήθηκε η ποιοτική προσέγγιση, με την πραγματοποίηση ημι-δομημένων συνεντεύξεων. Το θεωρητικό πλαίσιο που χρησιμοποιήθηκε στηρίζεται στο έργο του Antony Smith και του Stephane Dufoix. Η έρευνα που υλοποιήθηκε προσφέρει μια οπτική στην προσέγγιση της αρμενικής κοινότητας που αναδεικνύει τις δυναμικές που ενυπάρχουν εντός αυτής και αποτυπώνονται στην αρμενική ταυτότητα. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The aim of this study is to examine the way the components of the armenian identity are presented through the discourse of the Armenians of Attica. According to the study’s approach, the members of the armenian community are split into two categories. The first one includes the new Armenian immigrants who came to Greece during the last twenty-five years. The second one includes the old Armenians who were born and have lived in Greece, being descendants of the Armenians who came to Greece at the beginning of the twentieth century. The research hypothesis, which was formulated throughout the present study, is that the aforementioned categories signify differently the elements of their ethnic identity, a factor often causing friction within the community. Considering the results of the conducted research, the above claim has been verified to some extent. The research process has followed a qualitative approach, based on semi-structured interviews. The theoretical framework of the study is grounded on the work of Anthony Smith and Stephane Dufoix. The performed research aims to offer an alternative view in understanding the armenian community, one that reveals the dynamics lying in it and are inscribed in the armenian identity. | el |
