| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα εργασία ερευνάται η διείσδυση των ελληνικών επιχειρήσεων στην αγορά των Βαλκανίων μετά το 2000. Μελετώνται συγκεκριμένα οι περιπτώσεις πέντε (5) Βαλκανικών χωρών οι οποίες και ομαδοποιούνται σύμφωνα με το κριτήριο της ένταξης στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, ήτοι αφενός οι ήδη ενταγμένες χώρες Βουλγαρία και Ρουμανία (-ή Ανατολικά Βαλκάνια) και αφετέρου οι υπό ένταξη χώρες Αλβανία, Πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβική Δημοκρατία της Μακεδονίας και Σερβία (-ή Δυτικά Βαλκάνια). Μελετάται ο μηχανισμός των Άμεσων Ξένων Επενδύσεων ως μέσο διείσδυσης των ελληνικών επιχειρήσεων στις βαλκανικές οικονομίες. Μέσα από την καταγραφή των οικονομικών μεγεθών της κάθε χώρας διερευνάται διαχρονικά ο τρόπος και ο βαθμός που οι ελληνικές ΑΞΕ επηρέασαν κρίσιμα μεγέθη της οικονομίας τους στην περίοδο προ και μετά την κρίση, υπό το πρίσμα της ομαδοποίησης σε ενταγμένες και υπό ένταξη χώρες. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίδεται στην επέκταση των ελληνικών χρηματοπιστωτικών ιδρυμάτων στην περιοχή. Μέσα από τη διερεύνηση της εξέλιξης των οικονομικών μεγεθών των τοπικών οικονομιών, αλλά και της επίδοσης των ιδίων των τραπεζικών ιδρυμάτων, επιχειρείται να αξιολογηθεί αμφίδρομα η αποτελεσματικότητα του εν λόγω εγχειρήματος. Γίνεται καταγραφή της διαχρονικής εξέλιξης των χορηγήσεων των θυγατρικών των ελληνικών τραπεζών, και τέλος εξετάζεται η διαχρονική οικονομική επίδοση των ελληνικών τραπεζών, βάσει καταγραφής των βασικών μεγεθών τους από τους ισολογισμούς τους. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The present thesis discusses the penetration of the Greek enterprises in the Balkan market after 2000. In particular, the cases of five (5) Balkan countries are scrutinized, which are grouped according to the criterion of their accession in the European Union, that is to say, on the one hand the countries already incorporated in the above-mentioned Union, Bulgaria and Romania (the so-called Eastern Balkans) and on the other hand the countries under accession, Albania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia (the so-called Western Balkans). What is also under study is the mechanism of the Foreign Direct Investments as a means of penetration used by the Greek enterprises in the Balkan economies. Through the register of the economic sizes of each country is perpetually researched the way and the degree up to which the Greek FDI have influenced critical sizes of the economy before and after the crisis, in light of the grouping among incorporated and under accession countries. Great emphasis is given to the expansion of the Greek financial institutions in the region. Through the meticulous examination of the evolution of the economic measures of the local economies, as well as of the performance of the financial institution themselves, the effectiveness of the whole venture is attempted to be interactively evaluated. The recording of the timeless evolution of the financing of the Greek banks’ subsidiaries operating in the region is also attempted, based on the register of fundamentals in their balance sheets. | el |
