| dc.description.abstract | Η εργασία πραγματεύεται την προσωπικότητα του Κωνσταντίνου Βεντήρη, ο οποίος υπήρξε αξιωματικός του Ελληνικού Στρατού που ανήλθε στον βαθμό του αντιστράτηγου. Υπηρέτησε δύο φορές ως Αρχηγός του Γενικού Επιτελείου Στρατού και υπήρξε ένας από τους ανώτερους κυβερνητικούς διοικητές κατά τη διάρκεια του Ελληνικού Εμφυλίου Πολέμου. Επιπλέον, πραγματοποιείται και ανάλυση των σχέσεων της οικογένειας Βεντήρη με τον Βενιζέλο, ενώ μέσω της μελέτης αυτής αναδεικνύονται σημαντικά γεγονότα της ζωής του. Τέλος γίνεται ιδιαίτερη μνεία ως προς τις διακρίσεις και τις τιμές που έλαβε λόγω της ανδρείας και του μεγαλείου που επέδειξε στις μάχες και στην διοίκηση. | el |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | This thesis deals with the personality of Konstantinos Ventiris, who was an officer of the Greek Army who rose to the rank of Lieutenant General. He served twice as Chief of the Army General Staff and was one of the senior government commanders during the Greek Civil War. In addition, an analysis of the relations between the Ventiris family and Venizelos is also carried out, and through this study, important events in his life are highlighted. Finally, special mention is made of the distinctions and honours he received because of the bravery and greatness he displayed in battles and in command. | el |
