Abstract
The research presented concerns the environmental policy, and more specifically, a very important part of it, energy policy. In the examined time, from 2010 to 2014, the Greek economy faced the global economic crisis. The research method that was chosen as the most fitting for the preparation of the research presented, is the overview of the Economic Adjustment Programs with research held over the Evaluation Reviews following the installments that were given. In that way, were written down, the divisions of energy that needed immediate reforms and the gradual planning for the realization of those reforms. Also, were written down the reforms that were made in the division of energy, more specifically in the field of electricity, gas and renewables. In the whole, it was concluded that the degree of the adjustment of the reforms is slow and it doesn’t concern the solution of the existing environmental problems, as much as it concerns the reinforcement of the competitiveness of the Greek economy. In the end we are going to review, some of the most basic aspects of the environmental policy of Greece and European Union.
